# So, What *is* a College Co-op Program?

## About Co-ops

A college cooperative education program, or co-op, is an academic model that integrates classroom learning with full-time work experience (often paid) in a field related to your major. Co-ops students typically alternate between academic semesters and hands-on employment, allowing them to gain real-world skills and industry connections *before* graduation.

### **How Does a Co-op Work?**
